birthday!

yesterday was my birthday! it was...quite somethin'. yay!
so, i slept in and putzed around the house. watched some tv, straightened up a bit, etc. around 8:30 walter and lisa showed up. went across the street for some pizza. just after, kenny showed up. slowly, people began trickling in. greg and wong came. we decided to kick off the drinking by playing apples to apples -- always a good decision. i had one vodka cran in a solo cup, and was feelin' pretty good. after the game, i decided to bust out the peppermint patty shots, because they are fun! gave those to a whole lot of people. charlotte reprimanded me for "doing it wrong" because i told people to take the shot before the chocolate. lolz.
made myself another vodka cran. around then, lindsay podd came! so great. so glad she came. was talking to lindsay and walter for quite a while.
the last thing i remember is talking to those 2 over in the kitchen by the liquor. around then, everything just goes black.
cut to me, waking up in my bed in my undies, with my skirt at the end of the bed and my tights off (thank goodness). it's about 9:30. i have absolutely no idea how i got into bed, i realize, and it quickly occurs to me that i must have blacked out bigtime. against my better judgment, i decide to wake up sam. "what the hell happened last night? how did i get here? i think i barfed."
then he told me all about it. wow! good for me. i am a big fat mess! also, sam & jessamin are saints for dealing with my wasted ass. sorry, guyz.
walter, lisa, kenny and dan had all slept in the living room, so i went in and apologized. apparently around 3am, everyone watched prince's sign o' the times dvd, and i was very disappointed i missed this. but oh well!
all in all, it was a really good time. for me, what i was conscious for, and seemingly for everyone who came. i'm glad, at the very least, that i was able to bring together all sorts of people that i love! even if i ended up abandoning them, for my health.
